“Tell the daughter of Zion (the people of Jerusalem),
‘Behold, your King is coming to you,
Gentle and mounted on a donkey,
Even on a colt, the foal of a beast of burden.’”^(A)

⁶Then the disciples went and did as Jesus had instructed them, ⁷and they brought the donkey and ^[a]the colt, and ^[b]placed their coats on them; and Jesus sat on the coats.
